Child Symptoms
Children – top 10 problems

• Bright but underachieving, low-self esteem and frustration.
• Problems reading, telling the time, writing cursive script.
• Emotionally and socially immature, has problems socialising with peer group.
• Easily distracted, difficulty waiting in turn, blurting out answers. Talking excessively, finding it hard to play quietly. Fidgetting; problems remaining seated when required to do so.
• Interrupting and not able to listen when spoken to by eg parents, teachers.
• Short fuse, argumentative, defiant, blaming others for mistakes.
• Fussy eater.
• Poor self-organisation, lacking in fine and gross motor skills.
• Bedwetting over the age of 5.
• Hypersensitivity – some children experience genuine discomfort when having their face washed, hair washed or cut, nails trimmed and are over-sensitive to certain fabrics and clothing labels. They can also respond angrily to light touching on the arms, face or legs.
